Relax, Sort Of.

I hope you guys are enjoying the summer! Though I'd like to chime in about leadership, you guys did enough on your own. Amy came the closest to understanding my motives and views but I refuse to discuss this any further via the blog. This will be done in person, with all people concerned or not at all. Job titles are designed to cultivate talents, skills and resume padding. They don't do much for me as a coach that isn't already happening. Discord is verboten.

In terms of your own skills, work on elocution every chance you get. Simply find something with multi-syllable words and read aloud, slowly and clearly pronouncing each and every syllable. Don't worry about how long you do this, a page or so is good. Doing this often will train your formal speech patterns and help you sound better. Using something with difficult sentence structure is best (classical literature, a King James version Bible, famous speeches or other well written works). You might also improve your grammar in the process because you will become accustomed to word patterns you might not use often enough in real life.
