Tuesday Start-Up Day

Tuesday will be the first day when newbies can join us because you guys plastered the building with signs and Coty will make announcements inviting folks to join us. Stand back from the crowds!

Anyway, remember that Tuesday is also the after school reception to welcome back Mr. Knowlton. You may recall that the Debate Team was the only group at school that sent him a care package while he was in Iraq. (He used to help us a lot.) We may be delayed in starting our first practice.

You will eventually see a "Speech and Debate" conference folder on you First Class desktop. This is one I generated, so it actually works unlike the previous one. Feel free to use this place to leave files, cases, sources etc, just like the blog. The main advantage it has is access here at school. The disadvantage it has is that it is at school where language and such must be moderated. I would expect this blog to be fine as is, since it has access for alumni. I'll use both for announcements, schedules and important stuff. Play with it any way you see fit (within legal limits!).
