ALL LD READ THIS

Communitarianism is PERFICT ALL THE WAY AROUND. Julie you need to look at this because I know that it ties just as well into your case as it dose mine... If u don't feel like reading all of this then I'll explain some of it now.

first the aff is arguing communitarianism and the neg is using democratic liberalism. So the aff is saying first that there is a universal moral standard because all counties have problems with certain things like mass murder. So they have set up an over all moral standard. Next and the main argument is that the Governments job is to give liberties and "money" equally to everyone. So because they have to give equally everyone has to give back to the gov in different amounts but they all have the = responsibility to. Also because the gov gives = the "Legal entities" have to obey =. If you can explain this to the judge right you win.

now for the neg democratic liberalism. They say that there is no such thing as an overall moral standard and that it is limited to only one country because all countries have different laws and as such different moral standards. For example an Islamic man would consider some one losing there had for a crime just while a western individual would call it cruel and unusual. So because country's have different laws they have different morals. So the entire resolution is invalid because it can't apply universally.
