Communications Breakdown

Every day I am confronted by someone on the team who doesn't know some critical detail that everyone else knows. Why? Communication. No one is looking here at the blog or on First Class. Worse still, no one is talking to each other.

If we are going to pull together as a team with a great middle school team or a constant stream of national qualifiers, we need to communicate. This is a communications based club! Our fund raising is in jeopardy at the moment because crucial details are not being communicated on the computer, in a meeting, or by word of mouth.

From now on, beginning today, Wednesday April 24, 2007, we will do fundraising and middle school communications via First Class. Check it regularly, or better yet, go to the meetings. Posting things here is fine too but First Class will be the primary channel of club communication until June.

I'll step down from the flimsy soapbox now.
