Much to do...

Okay gang, we have our busiest week ahead. It may not look like much but many things are overlapping.

Yes we need every body available for the tournament on Friday the 18th, in order to assure a smooth and fun time. I think we are in good shape in organizing things and on Tuesday we will meet in the middle school library to go over our plans during practice. The turnout should be slightly larger than last year but not huge. It will be a comfortable sized group.

We need to promote a couple of things coming up:

The talent show preparations need to get started in order to recruit a dozen or so acts. Figure 12 acts at roughly 5 minutes each. Coty is in charge. How about $5 to enter (any number of acts), winner gets $25, second gets $15, third gets $10. (entry pays most of prizes) Spectators pay $3 and get to buy raffle tickets.

The car wash on the 26th is mostly a drive by thing so a huge sign by the road next to some shiny cars and some waving teenagers is about all we can do for promotion. We should come up with more ideas though. Wal Mart will be wicked busy that day (all retailers will be) because of the holiday.

We need ideas for a bottle drive. We will be okay if we pick up bottles from people, but how do we go about that? Mrs. Sirois and I can provide our pick-ups, you guys come up with the plan. I think a staff member or two is saving bottles for us.

Believe it or not, that's it before the adventurers head for Wichita! I'm ready to go yesterday! These last things should bring our final additional out-of-pocket cost down to less than $100.
