Bates and Brunswick

Well it's feast or famine for judging but the team looks good for the upcoming tournaments with the new topic. We are going to Brunswick with more than half of the team "idle" due to judging, but most of those are going to watch anyway. Good work ethic! I think this will be the worst time for judging since we have plenty of staff people who will help with one or more. With 4 pretty regular judges, we should be okay every time one of the staff helps out.

First off, Bates is now doing Speech instead of LHS. For Bates it looks like we will have judges for 10 entries in LD and PF. Mr. Nolette is going along as an LD judge. Be prepared for this tournament to go haywire in some new way like it does every year. We are going for points and practice if nothing else, so enjoy what you get. The Parlimentary demonstration is always fun. Just bring some food in case the pizza runs out again. Hopefully we can take some trophies as we've done since getting one of each under Norman's reign - which was punctuated by "Tin-Tin tonight" at the stage.
