BJ's First College Tourney

BJ competed in three venues for his first college tournament (the "CAL" tournament). He was schedule for a forth but "LD" was canceled. A large tournament, BJ hadn't relayed numbers. He did say his bed at the Hyatt was better than the one in his dorm.

He and Becky went 10-4, in seven rounds (Lets hope the Patriots can do as well), yet this record was not good enough to break into the finals (must have just missed).

He place third in the tournament for Exempt (this a debate category, not speech)
He place third in the tournament for Impromptu (this a debate category, not speech)
He was only competitor to place in more than one category
On Sunday night (his afternoon) he was in the finals of a special Exempt competition, which he felt very good about except he went over time by a second - which could be fatal.

Not bad for little old Dirigo High School grad.. Back in them there hills.
